Daylyt Alludes To Ghostwriting For Drake On “Lytskin”

Daylyt releases his song “Lytskin” off of his latest album with the same title and appears to allude to having possibly ghostwritten song lyrics for Drake. In the song, the Watts MC samples Drake’s voice in the intro and goes on to rap “I sat up nights writing, don’t get the credit I deserve/ I’m the one sending in references, I’m the one editing words/”. This is not the first time Daylyt has seemed to bring up the topic of contributing to other known artists’ writing. On his 2017 song “Last Breath” Day rapped in depth on the same topic and voiced the same concern about being overlooked for his contributions.
