Eminem References King Of The Dot In Royce da 5’9″ Collaboration “Caterpillar”

Royce da 5’9″ just premiered the new music video for his latest collaboration with Eminem titled “Caterpillar” the day before his ‘Book of Ryan’ album is released. At the 3:30 mark in the song, Eminem references battle league King Of The Dot when he raps “Say what I think when I rhyme, in ink pen I talk/ In a language I speak as my mind, Kingpin and Penguin combined/ Spit like it’s King Of The Dot”.

Eminem is certainly no stranger to the world of Battle Rap. Eminem proved his own skills in the Detroit scene, stared in the film “8 Mile” based on his own experiences battling, and his film company Shady Films started their own battle league (Total Slaughter) in 2015. Even just as of this year, Eminem produced the Battle Rap film, Bodied, which is set to be released in theaters later this year.
